Beth Hovis

Beth Hovis is a natural health educator, herbalist, and iridology instructor with more than two decades of experience in the herbal and natural health field. Her teaching combines practical application, foundational knowledge, and clear, grounded education for students, practitioners, and those who simply want to better understand natural health.

What began more than 30 years ago with a growing curiosity about natural approaches to health eventually became a lifelong pursuit of learning and teaching. Along the way, Beth has taught herbology, iridology, aromatherapy, classical naturopathy, and business foundations through online courses, live intensives, workshops, conferences, webinars, and professional education programs.

Beth is Board-Certified as a Doctor of Naturopathy (BCDN) and a Master Herbalist (BCMH) through the American Association of Wellness Practitioners. She is also a Fellow Iridologist (F.Ir.) and Certified Comprehensive Iridology Instructor – Level 3 (CCII-3). Beth serves in leadership with the International Iridology Practitioners Association and was named IIPA’s 2019 Iridology Instructor of the Year in recognition of her work in iridology education.

Through Beth Hovis Education, Beth provides professional iridology training, natural health education, online courses, workshops, and other learning opportunities. Her teaching emphasizes understanding the why behind what is being learned, recognizing connections, and developing the knowledge and practical skills needed to apply that learning with confidence.

In addition to her work in natural health education, Beth is a follower of Jesus who teaches from the Word of God with an emphasis on identity, purpose, truth, wisdom, and living according to the gifts and calling God has placed within each individual.

Beth is an invited speaker for conferences, churches, retreats, practitioner trainings, and educational events. She lives in the metro Atlanta area with her husband, Rob, and is the mother of three and grandmother of eight.

Jena Seay, Doctor of Naturopathy, Certified Health Specialist, Certified Natural Health Practitioner

Jena Seay

ND, CHS, CNHP, CAEOS | Natural Health Educator & Course Contributor

Jena Seay grew up immersed in natural health. Her grandparents opened a natural health store when she was a toddler, and herbs, nutrition, chiropractic care, and other natural approaches were part of everyday life in her family. Her own health experiences further developed her interest in understanding the connections between nutrition, lifestyle, and well-being.

As a young adult, Jena worked in several health food stores, including her family's store, where she gained extensive practical experience with herbs, homeopathy, flower remedies, nutrition, and natural health products. She went on to pursue formal natural health education, becoming a Certified Health Specialist, Certified Natural Health Practitioner, and Doctor of Naturopathy.

Over the years, Jena has worked in natural health consultation, educational content development, and course creation. She has contributed to programs and educational resources for schools of natural health and has partnered with Beth on courses and live educational events through Beth Hovis Education. Her perspective combines formal education with the practical realities of applying natural health principles in everyday life.

Jena's own experiences have also given her an appreciation for an integrated approach to health. She continues to incorporate natural health principles while recognizing and utilizing conventional medical care when appropriate. This balanced perspective reflects her belief that caring for the whole person sometimes means drawing from more than one approach.

Today, Jena's primary focus is her family and homeschooling her children. While she is not currently active in natural health practice, her contributions remain part of several Beth Hovis Education courses and resources.

Outside of her contributions to natural health education, Jena shares an honest look at navigating everyday life with severe chronic illness through Whimsically Jena. Her content reflects the realities of family life, homeschooling, health challenges, and learning to adapt when life looks very different from what was once planned.
